I can play every other game online thru my Xbox except battlefield 6. Keeps asking for security code and after I put it in, I eventually get error code saying connection failed.
I want to try game during free week, but this isn’t how you get me to purchase the game or anymore going forward.

Yes, I reset everything including my router, and cleared xbox cache, and still no luck. I can play call of duty, forza horizon, Elder scrolls online with no issues and even chat with my buddies actually playing battlefield 6 thru xbox live party. I can start and play other ea games too, battlefield 3/4 and golf. Just not this game.
I was able to play the redsec before the last update also. and now cannot.

I will try that again after work, I tried it last night after I seen other people being suggested to try that.
I even switched to my old router and it did not help.
Also, forgot to mention. I am running a wired connection, not a wireless connection.
