Unable to reset password
In March, I received an email from EA saying that they saw some unusual activity on my account. They said they reset the password, and that I need to reset my password to gain access to my account again.
However, whenever I try to reset my password, I'm taken to a page that states:
Reset password on a recognized device
You have 1 hour to complete the following:
- On a recognized device, launch an EA game with online features.
- Reset your EA Account password.
Before starting, make sure the game is closed and launch it in online mode.
I only play my EA games on my gaming laptop, so I don't have any other recognized device. I can't even launch an EA game since I can't log into the app. I don't have my EA account linked to any other service (no Steam, no XBox Live, etc.)
I tried to find a way to contact an advisor, but I can't find a way. I tried using the EA NextSteps Beta bot chat, and it even told me I need to speak with a human advisor, only to redirect me to a page that says my problem cannot be solved by an advisor. I keep going in circles here, and I desperately need someone to point me to A HUMAN ON THE SUPPORT TEAM, please!
