Unable to Resume Support Case on EA Help

Sadly enough it has been like this for a while. (At least as far as I’ve experienced) i have had multiple cases be closed due to me not answering them (read: not possible to answer). Also no idea if this is known or not…

Hey there, 

If you're unable to resume your current case, please try creating a new one. You can find instructions on how to reach chat support here:

How to chat with EA Help

1. Log in to your EA Account.
2. Select the topic that best describes your issue. If an advisor can help, a contact option will be available under your help topic.
3. Select Chat with us or Start chat.
4. Fill in the contact form with your:
   • first name
   • last name
   • e-mail
   • platform
   • subject (a short description of your issue)
   • attachments (e.g. screenshots, documents, links).
5. Select Send.
6. A chat window will open when you’re transferred to an advisor.

After you contact us, we’ll create a case for you. You can view it and keep track of updates in My Cases. You’ll be notified of changes to your case via email.

Hi, definitely tried this before just to get stuck in the same loop, last time I even added all the needed info before they asked (the info you also stated in your reply) but they still asked for the same info (which of course can’t be delivered since you can’t reopen the case or answer on the no reply mail. I have tried to find the chat option under the subjects that connect with my issue but it’s always the mail option.

The chat option might not be available depending on the subject selected.

If you select "EA account" as a product:

and then click on "See all help topics" and select "I want to update my EA account information":

You should get the chat option: 

I just went through the contact flow here and the chat option appeared for me. 

Please try that out and let us know if this works for you.
