After that, you should be able to use your own Xbox account to link with your EA account and play the game.
I will try that and let you know if that works. I thought that no matter what, an EA account will always be linked to that xbox. Is that true?

If you follow the guide, it should essentially reset the console to a “like new” state. The EA account the console links to depends on which platform account is connected to it.
You need an EA Account to play Battlefield 6, as your game progress is stored through your EA Account.

I did this last night and it did not work. Is there another way to chat with someone outside of the live chat? I have opened multiple tickets and gotten no where. I have heard there is a way to remove the account that is linked, but that account will have a 6 month ban. If that policy is still available, I would like to do that so I can add my own account
I'm praying that you find a solution. I'm in a similar situation, and the live chat agents are pretty much useless.
