EA support can assist you with the linking process, you should talk to support. It's worth saying that nobody else can assist you except EA support, so you will just need to try again.

Hi Dan, there is NO way to contact support.
There's no email address, no form, no chat.
Ea support no longer exists.
That's why I need help here.
The forums is the only thing listed on the support page.

In case it helps, I was just given the option to open an email case with the following steps just now:
If you aren't given this contact option when using the above steps, try them again while not signed into the EA Help website (cases can be opened without being logged in).
I managed to find it using the desktop version of the support site. But on mobile support is almost impossible to find contact options. Thanks for the help!
