Worst customer service EVER!

Hello,

I purchased the EA Play Subscription because I wanted the Deployment pack in Battlefield 6 but this was not given to me, so I cancelled, why pay when I am not given the pack, so I jumped onto the chat and oh my god, what a bunch of time wasting that was.

The first person Vineet, after I typed that I purchased the EA Play for the deployment pack, literally didn't understand and asked me 3 times what I needed even though I explained it clearly, total waste of time, he then transferred me to Versha who read the chat, sent a link to submit feedback and transferred me to Sahil who after me telling him to read up, transferred me to Keshav who surprise surprise, wanted to transfer me again, at this point with the stupidity from the worst customer service ever, I left the chat.

I am not sure who or how to complain about this shocking customer service but yeah!

Take it as feedback if you want but people like that should not be in customer service!

    Their customer support is some of the most useless group of people on the planet. My account got banned for absolutely no reason, and nobody is willing to tell me why and they keep repeating the same instructions of things I have already done. I'm sick and tired of dealing with these people. Never buying another EA product again.

    Aw **bleep**, that sucks man.

    I've had previous experience with customer service and never had any issues, they normally fixed the issue for me but this one was by far the worst I've ever come across.

  • I have a problem of missing purchased games in my library and the level of support is so poor and agents using non sense things like some one of them told me to uninstall graphic card driver lol..and until now after a lot of complains problem is not fixed and one agent turned case status into no fix

    Uninstall graphics drivers to fix missing ames in a library? That is just insane.

    It sounds like the EA Support do not understand a single thing, unsure who we can turn too to report it, I know there is a governing body but need to see who because it's out of hand!

  • Been having the same exact issue since October 12th. Been through about 20 support agents since October, still no solution. The last support agent I talked to a few days ago abruptly ended the chat and said “bye!!!!!”. We’re nearing 100 days I first reported the issue.

    This is a follow up to my previous comment on this thread. I forgot to mention I was able to partially solve this issue. Now idk what platform you’re on, but I assume PC and you’re using steam. I assume you bought EA play through the EA app, but own the game on steam. If this is the case, make sure both your EA account and steam account are linked. You can double check this under the “connected accounts” area in account settings on the EA website. If both are properly linked, then the next thing you need to do is download battlefield 6 redsec on the EA app. It’s a 70GB download, and once it’s installed boot it up. Once in-game, go to the in-game inbox and redeem the rewards that way. This only partially solved the issue for me. EA play comes with both the deployment pack and the season 1 pack. I was able to get the deployment pack, but did NOT receive the season 1 pack. This method is very annoying, since you’re basically having to install battlefield 6 again on your PC. If you own the game on EA app and bought EA play through the EA app, then just check your in-game inbox.

    I have just downloaded BF6 RedSec on the EA App and can confirm the reward was there for me to claim under previous messages section, only the deployment for me. There was a lead the way pack but it kept getting me to purchase.

    Pretty stupid download too, it downloaded 75GB, then HD Texture pack for 25GB, then another 8.9GB of Redsec Addon, then some other HD texture pack for 20GB before it was done, this was by far the dumber than the COD (Please reload the game to apply the update when you've done the game update)

    I purchased and play through Steam, both my accounts are linked correctly, I just checked and also in game it shows, there is an issue with the linked account though I feel, when I invite a friend, it sends it via EA app, not Steam even though I am on Steam, it could be the other way around, I am not sure but pretty sure friends notice the same thing.

    Yeah I 100% agree. We shouldn't have to download a 100GB game (that you already have installed on another platform), just to be able to redeem the rewards we paid for

    I'm happy I was finally able to get the deployment pack this way, after having waited since October 12th for it. But now the issue is trying to get the other pack, the Season 1 Pack. What is even more worrying, is it says the season 1 pack is going to expire in a week from now (January 19th). I highly doubt between now and Jan 19th that the community will be able to find a way to receive this pack in time. And we all know EA/DICE won't fix this issue anytime soon, considering it's been since October 12th and still no official solution from them. The community had to come together to find the partial solution (downloading redsec on EA app). Let's hope EA/DICE will grant us the rewards after Jan 19th passes...

    100% agreed. 
    Mine were hidden under the Messages section showing as a previous message for some reason. I’m not sure why they show us a previous message kind of hidden but yeah, they were there to claim for me.
