cant hear ingame voice

Product: A Way Out
Platform:PC
Which mode has this happened in? Online Co-Op
Which character were you controlling? Vincent
Summarize your bug i can not hear the characters voice when they talk
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? I cant hear the voices
What do you expect to see? a fix

I really want help because i cant hear the peoples voice

    I finally found a solution. I don't know why but the game doesn't support "Quadrophonie". After I've changed it to "Stereo" I was able to hear every dialogue and sound and music etc. (if you have the realtek audio driver you can change it in the the speaker configuration.)

     I hope i could help you with this information

    In Origin, menu top left > Origin > Application Settings > Voice.

    Look if the right hardware is selected and if anything is muted there.

    Its the characters voice not the person im playing with

    Still check that. If the settings are OK mute your partner > see if it makes a difference.

    Do you have a stereo or 5.1 setup?

    Did you checked/changed the Windows sound settings?

    Did you checked/changed the in game sound settings?

    Did you tried to repair the game? (in Origin > Game Library > right click "A Way Out" > Repair)

    Hey!

    I am absolutely „happy“ to see that i am not the only one who got the weird sound bug. I can hear every step and the music which is playing in the background the whole time but I can not hear any voices from any character or any dialogue.
    I‘ve also tried to repair the game, to uncheck the voice cancellation, start the game with admin priviliges, start origin with admin priviliges, changed the sound etc etc.

    Nothing fixed my problem.
    I don‘t know if information could help in any kind of way but i am playing on pc with Win 7 as an operating system AND! I am the one who bought the game and not using the friend pass

    This keeps happening to me too but I’m on Xbox one. It’s weird tho because I can hear the voices but it’s in the very far far distance. I tried uninstalling it multiple times but nothing.

    That doesn’t help someone on console. I can’t hear any dialogue in game when I play but I do hear everything else.

    I tried you're solution but my head set does not have a stereo option. Please help
