Hunter's Gates randomly turning off and not coming back on for a while.

  • Platform - PS5
  • PSN/Gamertag/Steam/EA Id. Sanngrithr
  • Please provide your teammates' ID if possible. n/a
  • Where in the gameworld did the issue occur? On any map.
  • If you were fighting a Kemono, which was it? n/a
  • If you weren't fighting a Kemono, what were you doing when the issue occurred? Solo, in a map, wishing to join multiplayer.
  • When did this happen? Ever since game launch, and as recently as today.
  • How often does the bug occur? Every third or so hunt.
  • What happens when the bug occurs? Hunter's Gates are all off.
  • What should be happening instead? They should never be off unless you are already in a session.
  • Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Simply entering a map. It should be obvious after a couple of hunts that suddenly they are not on. It has been reported many times in Reddit as a bug when people inquire about why they are off and ask how to get them back on. Sometimes choosing a random monster on the map and Requesting Assistance turns them back on, and sometimes not. Sometimes restarting fixes it and sometimes not. Sometimes you have to play 1-3 hunts solo or choose Join Session from the map icons before they will randomly turn back on.

Chain Trap inspiration not completing
  • Platform - PS5
  • PSN/Gamertag/Steam/EA Id. Sanngrithr
  • Please provide your teammates' ID if possible. Happens with any teammate or solo.
  • Where in the gameworld did the issue occur? Fuyufusagi Fort
  • If you were fighting a Kemono, which was it? Deathstalker
  • If you weren't fighting a Kemono, what were you doing when the issue occurred? n/a
  • When did this happen? Ever since game launch, and as recently as today.
  • How often does the bug occur? Almost every time I fight Deathstalker and every time inspiration triggers.
  • What happens when the bug occurs? I get the inspiration sound, the L1 prompt. I hit L1 and get the triangle prompt, and then nothing. The fusion does not complete.
  • What should be happening instead? Like the other fusions, I assume I should get the rest of the prompts and learn the fusion, in this case, Chain Trap.
  • Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure, since others have obviously gotten this to complete. My distance from him when it triggers is usually one full body length of his away, or thereabouts. He initiates an attack towards my direction and I get the inspiration sound and the first two prompts. No further prompts happen, the fusion does not complete, and most often because I am doing that, i am run down by Deathstalker's attack completion. Unlike other fusion, this one has never completed. At least 10 attempt where I have gotten the prompt.
