Focused bug report thread

• Platform: PS5
• PSN/Gamertag/Steam/EA Id: PSN – alksv- / EA – monochromonocle
• Where in the gameworld did the issue occur: Minato
• If you were fighting a Kemono, which was it: prior to bug – Spectral Tombtail
• If you weren't fighting a Kemono, what were you doing when the issue occurred: returned to Minato after a multiplayer session
• When did this happen? Please include timezone: about a week ago
• How often does the bug occur: it occured once
• What happens when the bug occurs: it stops the quest progress
• What should be happening instead: it should track the progress of the quest
• Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves: not sure

After doing the post-game quest "Hunt freely, live freely" and hunting the four deeply volatile kemono successfully, the quest progressed further to show me the ending cutscene/dialogue. Shortly after that, I was playing in multiplayer session, after disbanding the quest progress just rolled back and now I am on the same quest but it states that I'm at "Hunt the deeply volatile kemono (3/4)", and I have no deeply volatile kemono on my chapter 5 map. Therefore the quest can not progress, no matter what I do (I tried hunting the deeply volatiles where the host started the quest, it still did not credit me the progress).
