Friend unable to accept invite/receive invitation

Hi, we both playing on Steam.

We found a solution which is to have the account with friend pass to invite which does not make sense as my account is the one that paid for it. 

Is this supposed to be the case?

Glad to hear you found a workaround, however, you should be able to invite them. 

If the issue pops back up we can try the following first. 

• Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
• Steam - Verify in your library
• EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) 
• Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
• Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance

The game is working fine. 

He able to receive invitation but without an option to accept or reject.

He is using the friend pass version

but as shown in the screenshot, he cant accept/reject the invitation from me.

when he invites me i can see this option

this shouldnt be the case.

To check does he have the Steam and EA app client overlays enabled? 

If so, can we try launching the EA app and Steam prior to launching and checking if he sees the accept option?

Yeap both Steam and EA app client launched, but still could not see the accept option.

My friend bought it takes 2, she sent me a friends pass I downloaded the game and im not receiving the game invites. I even checked to make sure my game overlay was enabled.

yea ea fix the ea app i can see my friend and trying to invite him to play and he cant even see my invite same with me when he invite me i cant see his invite also can u just use steam friends to invite friends to play
