Game does not start - Can't get past initial loading screen
I downloaded It Takes Two, the full game, through origin.
When I press "play" the game launches, but I can't get past the orange loading screen at the very beginning. It just gets stuck there. Game doesn't crash, just won't go any further.
What I did so far in order to try to "resolve" this problem:
- Set game to high priority in task manager
- Update all my drivers
- Tried to repair the game
- Completely reinstalled the game
- Downloaded the latest DirectX
- Tried the steam workaround to launch the game in windowed mode
- Ran the game as administrator
- Added it to exceptions of my antivirus software
- Ran it in different compatibility modes (windows 8, 7, Vista, ...)
- Moved game from my E drive to my C drive
NONE of these "fixes" work
I can play any game on the planet without any problem whatsoever, but for some reason this game just doesn't load up.
I'm beyond frustrated at this point. Bought the PlayPro pass just to play this.
Any other suggestions?
Update:
I rebooted my pc and I suddenly was able to play the game.
Since I had rebooted my pc multiple times after many of the fixes I tried, I think installing the game on my C drive is what ultimately did the trick.
