It Takes Two — Showing Trial/Friend's Pass Access Instead of Full Game
Hi EA Support,
I own It Takes Two on Steam — purchased on March 25, and it shows as "In Library" on the Steam store page, with the "Play Now" button working without any purchase prompt.
However, when I launch the game, the in-game main menu shows "TRIAL" tags next to both "Play Local" and "Play Online," and a "Purchase Full Game" option is still displayed — as if my account only has Friend's Pass / trial access instead of the full licensed game.
I've already tried:
- Restarting Steam completely
- Verifying integrity of game files on Steam
- Checking my internet connection during launch
None of these resolved the issue. Could you please check my account's entitlement/license for this title and help remove the trial restriction? I'm happy to provide screenshots of both my Steam purchase history and the in-game trial menu if needed.
Thanks for your help!
Hi there,
Unfortunately, we're unable to verify account entitlements here on the EA Forums. I'd recommend contacting EA Help so they can review your EA Account and confirm that the correct It Takes Two entitlement is associated with it.
Be sure to mention that you own the game on Steam but are seeing Trial/Friend's Pass content in-game.
I hope they're able to get this sorted out for you.
