It Takes Two - Graphical glitch on Xbox Series X

Just bought the game for Xbox Series X (physical copy). Booted it up for the first time, and had a horrible graphics glitch that makes the game completely unplayable.

I already made sure there weren't any updates. I tried restarting the game and the console multiple times. I also left it alone for like 30 minutes and it didn't stop.

I can't find anything online about this specific glitch happening. It also happened when I downloaded the Friend's Pass just to try the game out. I had hoped the full game might work properly, but no luck.

Anyone encountered this before or have any idea how to fix it? We were really looking forward to playing this game... ☹️

Hey, @admiralnickf Thanks for giving those steps a try, happy to pass this on to the team to be aware of!

One last thing I wanted to check are you on any insider build of the Xbox operating system? If so, try going back to the latest stable build and check if this continues.

If not, check if any other profile on the Xbox also runs into this.

    Hey @admiralnickf

First, check if there are any scratches or other physical damage to the disc you purchased. If not, can we check the following?

    1. Make sure you have the latest software update.
    2. Perform a power cycle.
    3. Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
    4. Unplug any devices attached to the USB slot.
    5. Reinstall the game. If you're using an external hard drive, consider installing it on the internal drive to see if that helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey there!

I've checked and tried everything you've listed.

The game is up to date, I've power cycled my Xbox, I launched it as the only active game/app. I unplugged my external and I only ever had the game installed on my internal drive. I also uninstalled and reinstalled twice, but nothing has helped.

I really think this is something the developers will need to have a look at.

I'm not on any special build of the Xbox OS, just whatever the latest stable build is.

I don't have any other profiles on my console, but I did try removing and readding my profile, but I still had the problem.

Thanks for passing it along. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.
