It Takes Two will not launch (STEAM Version)

I´ve tried to run it as admin and didn´t work. It opens origins, and doesn´t launch the game

i still have the problem i did all the solutions u said it didn't fix it

i have the same problem, any infos?

why if i bought a game on steam through steam do i have to do anything with the EA origin app? because the whole reason i bought the game on steam was so that i did not have to deal with the pos origin app

I have the same issue that just started this week. When I started up the game from Steam this week, Origin had to update. Once it updated, nothing happens. The game doesn't launch. If i try starting up the game from Steam while having Origin up and running, I get the error from Origin stating "Well, that didn't go as planned".

I have tried verifying the integrity of the files, repairing the game through Origin, reinstalling the game, and deleting Origin cache. Nothing works. I had no issues running the game (Steam version) prior to Origin's latest update.

I fixed this by reinstalling Origin. I think the Origin's latest update did something and caused all my Steam EA games to no longer launch.

I bought It Takes Two from Steam on Jul 26th 2023 and played it no problem on 27th and 28th Jul, then come 29th and today we can't launch it either through Steam or through the EA Launcher. 

It starts to launch. The play button changes to 'cancel', then 'stop' and then it fails after a couple of seconds. Steam updates to say 'last played today'. No pop up, just as if we didn't click the 'play' button at all.

As far as I know we've not updated anything, but since it's stopped launching we've updated the graphic drivers.

It does the same thing when launching direct from within the EA launcher.

Hi @Antmanbrooks To confirm have you previously linked your EA and Steam accounts?

also, when you have a moment can try the following:

• Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
• EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
• EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
• Steam - Verify in your library
• EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) 
• Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
• Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates  
• Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues 
• Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game
