Missing side quests.

I've been playing with a friend since launch. We've progressed everything together (he was host) but suddenly he could pick up side quests that I can't. I've tried to restart the game and all but I can't figure out why..

later he joined me as host once and we did a side quest (love lost part 1) and now he can't pick up the part 2 of it o.o

 

the missing ones (for me) are

true culprit part 2

fingerling head of fishing part 2

go back home part 3

vessels vow part 2

 

the one he is missing is

love lost part 2

 

is it a bug? any ideas?

    @Koneko_Misa Having similar issues with side quests not lining up. Been playing with a friend and we have done everything together minus a few misc hunts when we both aren't on.
    Can't remember specific missions but he got a side quest from the person running the bath house and I never got it. and I have had some that he didn't get.

    I am assuming this is some kind of bug and hope its addressed soon.
    Also a nice QoL change would be letting us accept side quests in host world. Idk if you still get credit for finishing a side quest the host has when you don't have that mission but it would make progression a smoother experience.

    Same issues too ☹️ and I hope i wont miss these sidequests forever ! As for you I play with a friend.

    Any words from EA ??

    I'm still having this issue with side quests despite getting even further in the main story now.

    Despite the patch 1.0.4 installed on my PS5, the side quests are still missing ☹️

    Host is the only one that will see and accept new side quests. Main quests is the only one that carries over for all members one after the other.
    If you finish a side quest together, you will need to (stupidly) leave that session and go back to your Minato to pick up the next one, then rejoin their session.
    You will not be able to access new side quests if you are not host.

    Which Quest are you unable to access or are unable to progress in?

    Date this issue started (is it still happening?)? Still happening, started a few days ago. I have been progressing together with a friend who was the host, he could pick up all of them and I could leave session to pick up mine until we reached that list of side quests. Talking to the npcs that my friend picked up the side quests from doesn't give me any quests. I'm currently in chapter 4

    Is anything else happening?: No

    If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip... : I could share a screenshot but it would just be the map of Minato without the side quests icons on it. If there's anything else that I could screenshot that would help please let me know

    @Koneko_Misa Thanks for this information! To check we did have an update today. Can you confirm if this continues after grabbing that?
