New account banned after playing It Takes Two

I recently bought It Takes Two on the Nintendo Switch store without realizing that it'd require an EA account to play. Ok, no problem. I created an EA account and played with my friend for a few hour...

Also: I do not believe my account has been "hacked." I use a password manager with strong unique passwords for every service that I use. I take OpSec very seriously.
