Having the same issue, same error code in event viewer.
Ran the system file checker, no issues found, verified game files via steam, also no missing files.
Replaced my SSD a few weeks ago, and on a fresh windows 11 install, so I doubt that is the issue.
I really hoped that 1-st day patch might change things, but this is not happening.
So, the best way would be find out, what the f... does the executable calls at offset of 0x0000000002cdceb0 and then find, which function of old .dll it gets instead of what it was supposed to be, but I feel we will have to wait for devs update next week and hope it will fix it...

but today i want to play another game but i got some error then i search a solution for that game someone say "stop backup Desktop and Documents in Onedrive" when i do that i just try to launch Wild Heat maybe it have a same solution. Then it work!!

-click the OneDrive symbol (Bottom right in W10) and click the Cogwheel on the top left of the popup, and press settings.
-under Sync and Backup / Back up important PC folders to OneDrive click “Manage back up”
-press “Stop back up” on Desktop and Documents. - @NuttySnappy I have them disabled, still nothing...
- @NuttySnappy could you possibly do me a favor? Can you tell me what Wild Hearts-related files/folders you have in your Documents folder?
