(PS5/PC) Immortal of Aveum Lash anchor not working

So this problem still is not fixed. I just got the lash anchor ability and I am stuck in the fane because it will not work.

You have to come at it from a different angle to get it to work.  When facing the nearby chest, go left and down and around and go at it from that side.  It won't work from the other side for some reason.

I had this same problem. I noticed the lash as well as the crystal lens were missing from my gear tab. I reloaded chapter 10 and went to the forge to craft a new one. As soon as I opened the forge all of my missing gear returned.

I'm seriously annoyed, right now - I worked on writing a clear reply of my current situation - just for the forum system to "swallow" my reply when I pressed "Submit" ("you must log in or you do not have access" error - even though I am logged in and the Reply function is quite clearly available to me). Even if the system doesn't "want" to accept a reply - swallowing the text without warning is a no-go!

Get your stupid forum software in order - these are absolute basics that must not happen!

I'm not putting in that effort again, so here goes in short snippets:

Loading existing save after downloading game update shows no change - grapple still broken.

Restarting chapter 8 and acquiring the grapple ability from scratch now has grapple working - previous attempts before game update did not work this way.

However, this will not help other affected players that have progressed beyond chapter 8, already!

@EA_Illiumfor me it is still happening on PC, but on a different mission, on EXILE, while trying to Enter the Archives, so I am soft locked

@ElbramI have the same issue with grapple and lash ability in chapter 13. I can't use the regular ability on mobs and can't use it as a grapple. The animation looks like something should happen but nothing.

I'm having the exact same problem on PS5. Did you ever figure out a solution? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and that did not fix it.
