i kill chapter3 kemono but not drop changing essence

please fix bug

I can't even go back because I don't have a save file.

I've tried multi-play

my multiplayer friend drop changing essence

but im not drop changing essence

I started to hunt kemono the Mighty ones in online and solo but it didn't progress the story thats it

Same thing happened to me, just now. 

I'm on Xbox  Series X, stuck on this mission, the start of Chapter 3, post hunting the Mighty King Tusk & Amaterasu destroying Minato. 

I can't progress the main story, even though I've done the Mighty Kemono hunt several times via solo/multiplayer., there's just no essence dropped. I killed all of the Mighty Kemono on the 1st island, I even killed the 2⭐ Mighty Kemono that appeared as❔on the Spirit Isle. Hopefully there's a fix soon.

pretty annoying none of us cant continue main story :-(. 

getting boring killing the same kemono over and over....  

The only way I can see this being worked around is starting a new game (if that doesn’t erase your old game progress) and working back up to the quest then letting a friend join you to get the rewards and vise versa or ea would have to open a literal in game session that allows player to join in and get the rewards from there but the best bet would be for them to actually fix it It took me and my friend literally 10 plus hours getting a twitch streamer to let’s us join him in his quest line soon everyone will be past the quest 

I just went ahead and requested a refund from Steam and they gave it to me because the game is broken. I am NOT replaying the 8 to 10 hours of gameplay it took me to get there + all the farming I did for armors and weapons on the way there. Unacceptable that a game launches not only with technical and performance issues, but also with GAMEBREAKING bugs that do not allow players to progress at all. What an unpleasant experience ☹️

For me, this happened after I progress the main story with my friends. I was joining his World progress, because we were at the same point of the campaign.

After beating the Mighty King Tusk & Amaterasu burning Minato, I left the multiplayer session, and the other 2 continued. Afterwards, I got stuck and unable to progress any further. 

That was FOUR (4) Days ago, and still NO FIX. Come on EA, help us out here. 

Same here on ps5 we farm over  50 Monsters and and did All quests from 1-3 but still no Essence... would be nice if ea would answer soon. If this Bug isnt fixed soon i wanna have back my money.

It happend in solo for me I than joined a friend who was on the mission we both was able to get 1 but than that was it. We both seemed to get bugged I have also found another host who was on that mission unfortunately though he was already having the same problem as every here so neither of us was able to get another one.

at least give a anwser that u are working on the problem so we know if this is going to be fixed or EA just dont give a *.

what a complete joke....
