Re: Unravel Two and Titanfall 2 do not recognise controllers

Thanks, @EA_Illium It is a Steam controller. From having looked online I had already done what you suggest and that did not work.

In any case, I got it to work after a few hours of trying all sorts of things... here for reference in case someone else struggles.

Things that did not work:

- reinstalling Steam, reinstalling the game

- repairing EA app

- uninstalling and reinstalling the EA app

Things that worked:

- uninstalling the EA app again

- manually deleting every file and folder in my system that has anything to do with EA, Origin, Unravel Two, Titanfall 2 (there were a bunch of folders in different places)

- reinstalling the game from Steam

- reinstalling the EA app

Also, after the fix, the game starts quicker and does not open the EA app UI (the preparing game message or whatever still shows, though).

  • Yes, it works now.

What seems to have solved the issue was to delete all those folders (all EA related, written in multiple ways; Origin, and specific to the games) before reinstalling the EA app.

  • I have same issue. I use universal controller (not xbox or playstatin controller)

also I buy the game on epicgames. there is no settings on epicgames. there is no settings on ea app.

I use the same controller on need for speed most wanted and it works but I cannot use same controller on unravel two.

    what should I do?
