Split Fiction - How to do Crossplay

Hi - I have a PS5 and my friend has an XBox. I've bought the game. My friend has downloaded the friend pass. When I go to the 'play online' option, I add her EA name, but nothing happens. She doesn't get any prompt about EA at her end; so no way to accept my invitation and start playing the game. Is anyone able to explain in an idiot-proof manner how we can actually play this game crossplay? Many thanks!

  • splitfiction100 When you go online and send an invite, as long as your friends on the EA side show up, they should. When one of you sends the invite, does the other not see it in the game or on the console menu at all?

    1. start an online multiplayer game
    2. Invite EA friends
    3. Then an option to search for EA friends if present

If it's not working, you should check data sharing in both friend's settings, as it seems to block it if turned off.

Hi data checking is enabled in both cases. The issue is that there is no option for my friend in Xbox to log into her EA account from the friend’s pass page.
