Steam - Game still does not lauch

Hi @Laroht To confirm have you linked or unlinked your EA and Steam accounts before?

My steam and EA accounts have been linked for a while now, i have other EA games via Steam.

I have never unlinked them because i am unsure if i can RE-LINK the same accounts together.

And as mentioned Mass effect legendary edition works just fine through steam.

Hi @Laroht Would it be possible to try in a Clean Boot or a new Windows account to check if this continues? 

@EA_Illiumhaving tried the clean boot and fiddeling around with all programs.

the problem seems to be my sounds card program for whatever reason.

i have an Asus Strix Soar, with the Strix Sound Card program to change the settings, called nhAsusStrixUILauncher in the taskmanager start-up list.

if i disable this program at boot-up or turn it off before launching the game, the game launches fine, for now atleast

i was able to launch the game and even do a quest without it crashing or other issues.

mind you this was a 15minute test, i will try again tomorrow or this weekend for a longer session.

but it seems strange that this particular program messes with the game so much that it wont even launch.

Tried the game again today and it crashed within 10 minutes of a hunt.

Image froze but sound kept playing, and i had the idea that the game was still running, i heard my character got hit etc.  but the image on screen was frozen.

Latest patch changed little to nothing.

succesfully completed a hunt and then the game crashed to desktop on the loading screen back to Minato.

edit: decided to mess around a bit and put the game .exe and all the EA app .exe in admin mode and then launch the game.

i completed 2 hunts, went back to minato and everything, but upon loading a 3rd hunt it crashed to desktop anyway.

Edit2: tried again, game crashed to desktop within 5min of a hunt.

Yes, the latest patch changed nothing. This still occurs.

Game either crashes within a few minutes, after a hunt before i can return to camp or Minato or before starting a 2nd/3rd hunt.

I have no idea why it is so inconsistent.
