Stuck at door that won’t open. Act 1

I’m on Act 1, Ascend to the Eye of the Storm. There is a purple door that is down (blocking the path) and has an electrical cord running to it. The cord shows purple moving through it. I’ve shot the ...

    It isn't a bug. This is the answer, it is just frustrating

    It's timed and very tight. You have to race the orange spark back cause the door will only be open like 3 seconds once it reaches it.

@EA_Illium I also got this exact same issue on PS5. Unable to progress through the locked door after shooting the ring with the spear. The spark flows down the wire, but the door never unlocks. Tired reloading save, restarting PS5. I'm not sure I ever saw the orange glow over the ring when aiming the spear. Thanks.

Thanks for confirming I’m not the only one with this problem. I’m only a couple hours into the game, but I don’t want to start a whole new game, especially if I could potentially run into the exact same problem on a new game.
