Unable to connect to game lobby: players are using incompatible game versions.

Hello guys, So... my friend gifted me Split Fiction on Steam, I installed it right away and was excited to play... BUT, this message always pop up and was not able to play it ever... this was gift...

Hey 01_Siege_12, I've read through another thread reporting this error, and maybe it's worth checking whether you both have EA accounts linked to your Steam accounts, then try again?
