Same issue, took EA Play Pro sub yesterday and it doesn't say anything about an early access on the EA app. I can only preload the game...

Such a shame indeed and not being handled well by EA at all

Hey everyone,
We understand the frustration. We’ve just put up an update for EA Play Pro subscribers here .Keep following that thread for updates.

I really doesn't feel like you do. You could make your own thread on the forum - so people don't have to sift through replies.
- Won't launch through steam, even if you click the Trial Period Launch Button (10 hours remaining)
- Bought EA-Play on Steam
- Won't launch through EA-APP, even if you have PlayPro.- Upon launching the game from steam, there is a small window opened from the EA-APP
- The steam version of the game then shuts down and we get an error that it's on your end.
Some users are able to play, but report really poor performance. So how come some can? But others can't?
Is it because
- They did not pre-order on Steam?- They did not pre-order on EA APP?
- They have a mix of EA Play on Steam but PlayPro on EA-APP?- I [personally] have downloaded the game on steam. Uninstalled the game. Uninstalled the launcher.
- I [personally] Installed the EA-APP first, launched it, then downloaded the game from the APP, covered by PlayPro, Still won't launch.
What is the problem? How about a status update for those waiting?
The worst part of waiting for someone else to figure what the problem is, is when you don't get any updates on the progress in the slightest which just causes frustration for those waiting.it's amazing how other games on your EA-APP works (Battlefield for instance) but this wont? You should scrap launcher and use steam like every other reasonable company, you're selling it on steam anyway.

I've waited a good 7ish hours of trying all the "fixes" and waiting for a meaningful response or update on twitter or here before getting frustrated enough to post this hot take here
we all know what's going to actually happen here
we will get the run around with comments like "we are looking into it" for the next couple days
then the official release will happen and EA will sweep this issue under the rug while skipping to the bank with all the subscriptions they scammed out of people who just wanted to get there hands on this game a little early
glad to see the tradition of "surprise mechanics" continues

Truly, a show of good faith would be to allow people to refund their EA Play subscriptions. I paid money for TIME that I will no longer have, in order to access this game early. What if EA can't get it working until launch? How is that delivering on the product we paid for?
