A frustrated Chinese player's take

As a Chinese Apex player with nearly four years under my belt, I've always played fair and poured countless hours and hard-earned money into this game. Last year, my account was permanently banned out of nowhere. The most ridiculous part? I didn't even touch the game for the entire two months before the ban was issued.

I've appealed multiple times, every single one rejected with the generic excuse of "use of game enhancements". But I have never used any cheating software, hardware, or even a controller—nothing that could possibly give me an unfair advantage. I sent in one final appeal recently, but I've completely lost hope.

Apex's anti-cheat is an absolute joke. It can't catch the blatant cheaters ruining every match, but it has no problem falsely flagging random, harmless software on legitimate players' PCs as "game enhancements". It's time to walk away. Goodbye, Apex—the game that got me through my entire high school career.
