activation code for Assassins Creed Odessy

I just bought Assassins Creed Odyssey through Origin. Once it downloaded the install prompted me to install Ubisoft. Now Ubisoft is asking for an activation code. I've checked my email, the purchase ...

Hey @wpig5 if you open your My Game Library in Origin and click on Properties you should be able to copy and past your activation code from there.

@EA_Darko thanks for the reply. It did not immediately appear there. I shut everything down and after several hours UbiSoft Connect magically had the code and things worked. I spent two hours chatting with customer service. This was all pretty disappointing. If I had realized the Origin was going to take my money and then kick me to a different service anyway I would have just bought the game directly from UbiSoft and saved myself a lot of grief.
