"An unresolvable error occurred on our end"

Every time I launched the EA desktop app, it gave me this error.

Since I'm accessing EA play via XGP, I cannot use Origin.

    I also tried reinstalling EA desktop. Although EA desktop didn't show up in control panel after I double clicked it in control panel, it didn't uninstall the software. And now I cannot install new one as well.

    I have the same problem as well and it occurs every few minutes regardless of what I'm doing. Hitting 'reload' does nothing and I have to restart the app

    Reinstalling did not help, and neither did the 'App Recovery' options.

    I can't catch a break at all while trying to download games on this platform and am forced to check my PC every so often just to restart EA Desktop. Downloading one game takes several days because of this.

    Just now, I had a 40GB download that had reached about 50% but after a crash like this one and restarting the desktop app, it's been stuck at 23227%. Not sure if I'll be able to put up with the whole process again from scratch..
