Bug of changing debit card info

    Hi @EA_Leeuw.

    Possibly I indeed have some payment service assigned to my account. As I mentioned previosly, when I try to cancel my subscription, message received by mailbox says that I have YANDEX_CREDIT_CARD.  Big odds that I linked my card to some Yandex-payment service and then assigned it to EA-account. But it is strange, that on EA Play subscription menu are shown picture of the card with last 4 digits that corespond to my debit card. Anyway I will try to find out whether I use payment service instead bank card. Thank you for link, I will check it =)

Hey @HowAreYouBroWSER,

It is indeed the case that, unfortunately, debit cards can not be used to purchase EA games/services from the Origin store. When it comes down to card types, only credit cards can be used sadly.
This is because credit and debit cards work slightly different.

There are also other available payment methods for Russia. See https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/yandex-info/ for example.
