Can't get Madden 24 trial on PC....

Hello, I have the Xbox ultimate game pass membership and this is linked with my EA play account on my PC. In the past, this is how I got EA sports PGA tour at a discounted price and it's how I played Fifa 23.

I went to download the trial of Madden 24 (on my PC) and it says that I'm not an EA Play member. I verified that all my xbox game pass ultimate membership is active and i also verified that my xbox account is indeed linked and active with this EA account.

What other options can I go through to get this to work, or did EA change it so you can't do this anymore? This worked just a few months ago, so if something was changed it had to be extremely recent.
