Card being identified as prepaid when it isn't?

I am trying to pay for my EA Play subscription using my card, but it is being identified as a prepaid card. It is not. It is a bank card with checking attached. Please advise, as EA seems to have done away with any and ALL forms of communication other than these forums. I'd really like to be able to put things like this into an email or something else less public, but there's no other way to make contact any longer. I'm a bit disappointed with that. But... I do need to understand why I can't use a card I've used before and pay for my subscription.
