EA play - Xbox Gamepass issues

I've read everything regarding this on the forum, and EA themselves doesn't really have any solid place to get help.

Every time I try to connect my Xbox account with my EA account through the "sign in using" and then Xbox, I get an error message that says my EA credentials have expired and need to be updated. And then a link to reset my password.

The issue is that I've probably reset my password more than 5 times now, and I get the exact same message every time, and I'm lost as to how I can solve this.

If anyone has anything that could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Did they tell you which account doesn't exist anymore? Is it the EA account or the Xbox account?

It could be that your Xbox account is already linked to another EA account, but that account has been disabled or deleted. It would mean that you cannot link your Xbox account to another EA account.

Unfortunately that's not something that we can help with on the forums, so I can only suggest reaching out to the support team for more info. If the EA account was deleted and it is not possible to retrieve the account, then please leave a message in this topic:
