If you guys are still having issues with this, try turning off, or white listing anything that is blocked from your console. I use PfBlocker and DNSBL after checking in DNSBL I noticed it blocked a few items and after going through and white listing them and restarting EA Play it worked. I sure not all of you use PfSense but I suspect a blocking within a firewall is 90% of the culprit.
