EA play worked on PS4. Once i switched to PS5, EA play does not work anymore. I cannot even start EA play icon and the following message appears: This PS4 game isn't playable on PS5. For more information, go to PlayStation.com/bc.

I get the same, I am in PS4 when I open the app and and click on anything it freezes me the I get a screen saying OH no! It looks like we’ve encountered an error, please close the app and try again

@tommybh0y Had the same issue for days, Uninstalled and reinstalled from play store but still same error. today deleted the app, Logged on to my PS Network account and downloaded the app from there. Just launched it and worked first time ??
give it a go.

Every time i try to boot up ea play the application directs me to ea.com/unable-to-connect

I know they have had server issues today and mentioned that some people may not be able to access EA Play and other services.

Hopefully that has been cleared up and that is all it was for you.

Hey @BurningNeko if you continue to see this issue then let's try to rule out a connection issue by taking a look at our Connection troubleshooting steps which you can find here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/

It'll take you a couple of minutes to do them all but please do take the time and do them all.
