@Bluebellflora I already paid the $39.99 (around that price) for the game not just the subscription price. Once I downloaded the game my play button was greyed out.

Do you get an option to uninstall when you click on the game in your games library? If so click on it then choose Revert game edition. Origin Access is not available for Mac users.
