    How come, which bits don't you understand? Origin Access is only available for Windows users. To play the game on a Mac you must purchase the base game outright but Origin does not make this easy as it likes to push users towards subscribing to Origin Access, which of course is useless for us.

    The instructions in the opening post explain how to avoid subscribing to Origin Access and navigate through to buying the base game.
