EA Play Isn't Working, Support is Attrocious
Can we just acknowledge for a second how horrible of an experience it is trying to get support on EA products?
I have an EA Play subscription purchased through Steam and current per my Steam subscriptions. Every time I try to open any EA Play games, the EA App opens and prompts me to purchase the game. This has been every game I've tried, even those with 0 hours played. I came to EA's help page to submit a ticket, and lo-and-behold the only options are self-service or community.
A company the size of EA should not be outsourcing their support to their paying customers. That's absolutely insane to me.
There's no working phone number, no contact option, and no way to even submit a case that I could find in 30+ minutes of searching.
In stark contrast, it took me 30 seconds to submit a ticket with Steam support, so I'm hoping that pans out because I have 0 hope of getting any actual support from EA at this point.
Good news, with expectations this low, it should be easy to wow me...
*Edit - I may have finally found a way to open a ticket after the 100th link I had to trudge through. We shall see.
*Edit 2 - They sent me back to Steam support. 1/10 experience, at least I managed to find a way to talk to a rep but I had to do some really strange internet acrobatics to get there and they didn't even help me.
