EA play refund in the UK

Is there anyway of contacting support so I can refund my membership through the right of withdrawal act. I haven’t used it in weeks and just saw the payment come out right now.

IT SHOULDNT BE THIS HARD TO GET A REFUND…

  • Hello CreteGod19,

you can cancel your EA Play membership as described here.  EA Play memberships are not refundable, except for very certain cases. You can find more information further down in the same article I shared.

  • I agree it shouldn't be this hard to get a refund. EA's practices are appalling. Also why is this marked as a solution? I don't see a resolution here as no refund was given

The solution is that EA Play is not refundable. That is the answer to the OP's post.

    Are EA Play memberships refundable?

EA Play memberships are not refundable. There are some exceptions to this that allow us to offer refunds under certain circumstances.

For example, if you upgrade to EA Play Pro on the EA app, you’ll be refunded for the remaining paid time left on your initial EA Play membership.

Find out how to troubleshoot refund issues for EA Play Pro upgrades.

To learn more about our refund policy, check out our Great Game Guarantee.

This information can be found on our website at https://help.ea.com/en/articles/ea-account/how-to-cancel-ea-play/.

    Hope this helps. :)

So your saying that the EA Play pro membership is not refundable under any circumstances beyond 14 days. Is the EA Play pro membership so awful that so many people regret their decision that they had to implement this policy? I'm guessing there was too many refund requests? With the number of odd technical errors I've experienced I'm not surprised.

As well,  other game platforms don't have this same policy, most places will refund a portion of any unused amount. Is seems like EA just wants to keep the money even at the expense of a poor user experience.
