EA Play subscription through Microsoft not working

Sounds like you may have multiple EA accounts @Nandybear and are logged into a secondary one.

Have you checked that the EA account you are logged into is the one linked to your Xbox account?

The one that I'm logged in to is the one linked to the Game Pass account - I've checked the EA status thingy, and it says linked to <email address for my game pass account>.

If I have Game Pass, then it works fine. However my Game Pass lapsed, but I had a yearly EA Play voucher (the one you used to be able to swap for Game Pass but can't any more) so I redeemed it, all while using the accounts that are linked and working.

Hey @Nandybear EA Play codes were never able to be redeemed for Game Pass.

Did you redeem an EA Play code to your console?

They used to be able to - a 1 year subscription used to convert into 4 months of Game Pass Ultimate. They stopped it at some point but I still had the vouchers ha.

Hey @Nandybear exploiting such a loophole is not something we can assist with. 

If you have EA Play on your Xbox then it will be accessible there, you will not be able to access EA Play on any other platform such as the EA app.

Mate that's immaterial to the point, the loophole is not a part of my problem, nothing to do with this question, it's just the reason I originally bought the subscription is all.

I have an EA Play subscription, that I have redeemed, and I can't access EA Play. Are you saying it only works for Xbox and not PC ? 

Well that sucks. I guess the things were Xbox-labelled gift cards so they probably said on them somewhere that they're only for that platform, so can't really complain about that.
