So I’ve not used a single minute of my EA Play Free Trial on EA FC 25. However, once it connects me to the server it comes up with a message saying “unfortunately you have used up your time on the free trial. You need to purchase the full game to keep playing”.
As I say, have literally just got on and this came up. I tried restarting the game, restarting the Xbox, considering uninstalling the game and re-download but this is going to take time. Is there another fix?

Have you tried re-installing the game? I’m doing that now to see if it will fix but got a feeling it’s an issue with the EA Play trial itself than the game but worth a shot. I’ve contacted EA help directly so will let you know what they say when I get their answers.
I have the same issue. Have not changed regions and it's 10AM in my region at the moment. Got thru the intro video, and when trying to connect to servers - it gives "your trial has expired". I have not gotten into the menus even.
