I have PC game pass and installed the EA app, but the EA app is still showing I have to pay for the game to play. The xbox app button for install just shows three dots. How do I install it? I linked the accounts through the xbox app promt, not sure what else to do.

im having the same issue. just keeps telling me the ea extension needs to be reconnected. i did that and it didnt change. its something with ea's servers. there are a lot of people having the same issue. i havent had this issue with their other games on gamepass so idk whats going on

Same issue here. On game pass it wont connect but on EA app it says you still have to purchase the game even though it has the EA pass logo. Must be something to do with EA dropping the ball.

I got it to work. I repaired the Ea app and now the download is working. Link you EA app then you can download it through there.

its finally working. had to logout of everything. log in to ea from the xbox app. then go to the ea app and it should be installable

Logging out of both EA and xbox, then logging into xbox and clicking install auto signed me back into EA and got it downloading. Hope this helps.

This appears to still be an issue. The page loads but the install button shows the 3 dots continually in a loading state.

The original issue has been resolved, and this thread will soon be closed. If you're experiencing a similar issue, you can check if reinstalling the Xbox PC app perhaps solves it, or potentially create a new thread.
