How can I link Xbox Game Pass account to my EAGames account?

How can I link Xbox Game Pass account to my EAGames account?
I can't find any options for doing that in any of the account settings.

    1. Go to https://help.ea.com/en/ 

    2. Log out if you logged in

    3. Click on the login right upper corner 

    4. Down you'll see "sign in using Xbox live"

    5. After you sign in with your Xbox account it'll tell you to sign in with your ea account 

    6. Done you got your Xbox account linked 

    To check if the account got linked or not 

    1. On the same page https://help.ea.com/en/ 

    2. Go to accounts top left (sign in if you didn't)

    3. Then 'Account security' 

    4. Then 'About me'

    5. Scroll down you'll find your Xbox account under 'Connected accounts'

    That's it

    likewise still not able to play anything and is still asking me to "join"

    My first game install from the xbox app got stuck at preparing. I unlinked accounts from the EA account website, logged out of EA desktop app, and did the linking over again when triggered from the xbox app to get things working.

    Handling the accounts already linking should have been allowed for given how long this has been delayed.

    @BaderEsh Thank you. My issue was my xbox account created a new EA account (I think or i had one linked to my xbox email) so i had to first log in with xbox and unlink my xbox account and log out.
    Then log back in with my credentials for my origin/EA account then it asked me to link Xbox

    This didn't work for me. When I tried to log into my xbox account on the website, it just logged in. It didn't tell me to sign in with my ea account after that. Now I just have my ea account and then a separate ea account using my xbox info. Do you know why this happened and/or how to fix it?

    I'm having the same thing occur.  No matter how many times I log out, unlink, relink, login, rinse, repeat, I cannot get EA Play to recognize my Game Pass sub.  This is frustrating beyond belief.   I've now been waiting a week on Xbox's back office to figure out what is broken and fix it, after having gone through Seven of their Tech Specialists and 5 Gamer Volunteer Support members.  Sadly, the email I received from the Tech Support manager was riddled with enough spelling errors that it was obvious they do not use form letters and I have to question their competency as a manager.

    At this point, I'm about to give up and just boycott the whole thing and no one will get my money.
