Thanks for your reply. See, that's what I figured. Why would EA care where you bought the card? The card gives prepaid access to a year of EA Play Pro, you happen to activate it on your Origin account in Canada... same market, same language. The ONLY thing I could think was that codes sold in the US (because we don't even have those gift cards here) could end up not being possible to activate on a Canadian Origin account or IP address. But that feels like a stretch. I've seen North American regionality in games but never Canada and the US as separate regions. I had a chat with EA customer service and they got me nowhere. All the representative was able to say was that their supervisor had said the card was sold in the US on Amazon, wasn't something that was sold in Canada at all and that therefore, that made it likely that it wouldn't work.
