They tried at least twice. They tried once from me and immediately cancelled.

My subscription was going to be renewed for 999.99 TL. I tried to make a payment to continue my subscription before, but the page it directed me to only said ERROR, so I waited, thinking that EA would notify me by email when they wanted to withdraw the money. Not even a minute passed between the warning email and the cancellation email. I wouldn't expect a big company like EA to do something like this. Here's how it happened chronologically:

1) First, the price update was sent via email. The price was 120 Dollars, around 4200 TL in Turkish Lira.
2) 1 month before my membership was to be renewed, an email was sent and it was said that only 999.99 TL would be charged for the continuation of my EA Play Pro subscription.
3) Then I tried to make a direct payment to continue my subscription, but the page gave an ERROR.
4) I waited for the payment to be taken, but after the payment was not made, the Please update your payment method. and Membership cancelled. emails came at the same time.

Last year, I received the Please update your payment method email on the same date and time. I saw it and 50 minutes later I updated my payment method and continued my subscription. Why is EA canceling the membership without warning? It is said that the 999.99 TL subscription continuation email was sent incorrectly and if so, we are not at fault.

The fact that these two emails came at the same time shows EA's cunningness and if I can't get a result from here, I will take legal action. Because I am completely right about this issue and EA support team has never helped. You can't steal my rights with a 1-month EA Play Pro membership gift. Update my Payment method in 2023

Also, a support team member told me in my conversation last night that the payment would be repeated tomorrow. However, it has been 1 day since the payment was not received and the payment has still not been received. You can find the transcript below.

Same issue happened to me also. Moreover, I had my card details saved, which I used to use at ea (there is nothing wrong with my card). My membership was supposed to auto-renew. When I contacted customer service, they told me that ea's support for the Turkish lira had been discontinued and this was the reason for this problem. But even though it was not my fault, ea still disregards customer satisfaction.

When I write to support, they say they do not have the authority. Then I ask what I can do about this issue, but they insist on not answering. The support staff may not have the authority, but there are definitely people who have the authority and can help with this issue, but they do not say anything. EA has fallen out of favor, and I am currently thinking of complaining to the Consumer Rights Office in my country.

Ea is canceling subscriptions through no fault of the customer

I just spoke to a support team member. He said that the issue is being investigated. If you don't want to wait, a 1-month free membership is given, but only if you subscribe at the current price 🙂. I think we need to wait a bit.

Although I entered my payment information, I did not know how correct it was that you could not make a withdrawal transaction and then canceled my membership. I could not make any kind of payment manually. In this case, I hope you will tell me what to do and how to proceed.

I think there is a misunderstanding here. In the EA mail content, they said that we can extend and renew our membership for 999₺. Although we entered our payment information correctly, they could not receive the payment and canceled our membership. Now we are being told that there is no solution to this, that we can get the membership with current values?

@sinyorselim If there is a misunderstanding, you have to speak with support on that one. Community Managers have no ability to modify an EA account in any way as we are not support. The forums is not the correct avenue to change any type of payment or membership on your account. That can only be done through support.

So how can I get in touch with this support? I've written from X, I've tweeted, but I haven't heard back. Can you point me in the right direction?

Support can't help either, because they unjustly cancelled our subscriptions. They did this cancellation on purpose so that support couldn't help.

I was lucky enough to chat with a live support when I also had the same issue with you guys. He said that there was an error regarding the Turkiye billing servers etc and said that keep balance on your debit card a little bir higher than 999,99 TL and it will take a few days. He also said that our regular old price, 999,99 will be the price not 4.000 TL. I have downloaded the customer support text to proove it. Let's hope they figure this out swiftly.

I still can't belive i got the chance to talk with an actual support. I selected few options and they directed me to billing customer support. I dont belive that they will charge us 999,99 TL but I'll wait a bit and see because support told me to put a bit more than 999,99 on my card and it will be deposited automaticly. I downloaded the whole customer chat if ea charges me full price. I hope they take some action soon. There is a new problem tho. When I sign in, I cant chat with any customer support but I do see them when im not signed in. I added the text file between me and the customer support if you are curious about it.

I'll wait for a week and probably buy on the new price all of my evos are due to expire. I really hate the online support they do nothing. I added my customer service chat on my previous message. They told me that they will charge the old price. I have more than 999,99 on my credit card. I read that many people paid like 999,99 + somne taxes and something like 1032 TL on previous topics. Hope we can somehow achive the same result.
