From your PS4 main menu, head to Settings-> Account Management-> Account Information-> PlayStation Subscriptions. If you're not seeing an active EA Play membership listed here, then it sounds like you may have bought EA Play for PC instead.

You can check your EA account for a PC membership by looking under the EA Play tab here. If you're seeing a PC membership on your account instead, you can contact live support to get this membership cancelled and have them check your refund eligibility- please reach out to live support by submitting a help request on the site here.
