EA SUBSCRIPTION

Hello,

I would like to report an issue regarding the EA Play subscription display on PS5.

Yesterday, the monthly EA Play subscription payment was charged automatically. In the PS5 payment history, the transaction is shown as successfully completed, and the subscription details indicate that the next billing date is in one month, so the subscription is clearly active.

However, I am experiencing the following issue with how the content is displayed:

- When I go to PlayStation Store → EA Play subscription → View Games, it shows only 3 games (two of which are already installed).

- At the same time, if I search for EA games manually via the Store search, they are marked as “Included with EA Play” and I am able to download them without any issues.

- This indicates that the subscription itself is working correctly, but the EA Play subscription page does not display the full game catalog.

Additional information:

- I have already tried Restore Licenses (I understand this applies to individual games, not subscriptions).

- I have restarted the PS5 and verified that the EA Play subscription status is Active.

My question:

Is this a known issue with the EA Play subscription page on PS5, or is there a way to refresh or correctly display the full EA Play game catalog within the subscription section?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Kind regards,

    Hey Tonny992

Thanks for the detailed report, which helps a lot.

What you’re describing points to a PlayStation Store display/cache issue, not a problem with your EA Play subscription itself. The key signal is this: games are correctly tagged as “Included with EA Play” when searched individually and can be downloaded, which confirms the entitlement is active and working as intended.

    What’s going on

    • The EA Play “View Games” section on PS5 is unfortunately known to sometimes show an incomplete catalogue.
    • This list is populated by the PlayStation Store frontend and can lag behind or fail to refresh properly, even when the subscription is active.
    • I don't believe that we have any control over how the PS Store subscription pages cache or surface the catalogue.

    What you can do

    • Continue downloading games via manual Store search -- this is the most reliable workaround and does not affect your subscription.
    • Some players report that the list updates after:
      • Logging out of the PSN account and back in
      • Waiting 24–48 hours after renewal (the catalogue refresh is not always immediate)
    • Restoring licenses and restarting the console won’t usually fix this specific display issue, as you already suspected.

If the EA Play page continues to show only a few titles after a couple of days, PlayStation Support would be the right place to flag it, as they manage the Store UI and subscription listings.
