Hi, I have an EA PLAY PRO subscription and I would like to know if I will receive the Sandard or Ultimate Edition on 27/28, or do I have to buy the game? - (on the preorder page says: "FIFA 22 is yours when you join EA Play Pro, along with a ton of awesome member rewards and in-game content. Plus, you get 10% off digital purchases and access to an evolving collection of games")
Also, I pay a "standard" EA PLAY subscription for a friend of mine, and I would like to know if he has to buy the game if he wants to play those 10 h early access, and then continuing his progress when the game launches on August 1, or he can play that 10 h without buying the game and buy the game later?
Also, if my friend decides not to buy Fifa 22, when can we expect this game to be free to play for those with "standard" EA PLAY subscriptions?

EA Play Pro members generally get the highest editions for games. You will receive the Ultimate Edition.
Standard EA Play memberships provide 10 hour trial of our games. Once the 10 hours is up, the individual will either need to upgrade to EA Play Pro to continue playing the full game or purchase the game standalone. Your progress from the 10 hour trial will carry over to EA Play Pro or your individually purchased title.
There is no date on confirmation FIFA 22 will go to the EA Play List. FIFA 21 came out May 3rd to the EA Play List the following year after it's release. So if I understand you correctly, I have already (for years) EA Play Pro and will get the Ultimate version of FIFA 22 included?
On Origin however it states choose your edition (pre-order) and you have the choices between Standard and Ultimate but for a price. So what's this?
Will it automatically be available for download as a EA Play Pro member at certain time?

- @GhostDanc3 Yeah that's exactly how it will be work. It's frustrating as every year with all their games the messaging is terrible.
I will likely pop up on the EA Play List for Pro players to pre-load in the next 7-10 days in time for early access etc. It'll be the Ultimate Edition like always, same with Battlefield 2042 which you can't select through EA Play Pro as of yet.
I don't see the harm in allowing you to select it early though, would save so much confusion as it feels like the availability is creeping closer and closer to the actual release date. Probably to try and tempt people into spending additional cash as they're uncertain on whether they'll get it or not. - EA_Blueberry

- @EA_Blueberry so if I have EA PLAY PRO, that means I can play starting date of 22 without stopping after 4 day, or after those 4 days I have to stop as well, and continue after October 1?
You'll have unlimited access starting the 22nd (so for FUT players this is pretty huge)

I have a question. If I preordered Fifa 22 Ultimate edition on steam, and I buy the EA Play pro on origin (as it is not available on steam) will I be able to play the game with no time limit from 22 september? why can i not pre-load / donlowad the game yet? pc ea play pro member

Here's the thing. I purchased FIFA 22 standard edition through steam and connected to my origin account obviously. But I don't have early access from 22nd September because it's a Standard edition. So I was planning to get EA PLAY PRO for one month So that I can get full access from 22nd September. But from the official release, I'll get back to my standard edition. Now my concern is about the game progress.
The EA PLAY PRO gives the ultimate edition and I have the standard edition. So when I move to the standard edition, Will I have all my progress from the Ultimate edition (PLAY PRO) ??

Origin ID- ShawonFPS- @shawonfps I'm pretty sure the progress remains. I asked the same thing, but my concern is that buying EA Play Pro from origin won't work since you got the game on Steam.. At the same time, you would be playing the game from the subscription, so, it would act like you don't even own the game, so, maybe it's gonna work..

If you purchase the game on Steam I believe you still have to launch the game from Origin hence you'd be using the same account to login to FIFA.
Thus, progress should continue between the different editions as it's tied to the same account.
If your game edition gets upgraded progress does carry over.
