So, I didn't know EA was launching its subscription service on Steam. I signed the anual plan from Origin Acess last week, and now EA launches EA Play on Steam, is it possible to 'move' the subscription to Steam or am I stuck in Origin for one whole year?

You can't transfer subscriptions to another platform i'm afraid so you will have it on Origin for the year.
Whilst you can't get a refund for subscriptions usually, it still might be worth trying by contacting an EA adviser.
