Sims 4
I've been playing Sims 4 for years and I've never bought a expansion pack or anything. I noticed some changes in the game the past few weeks one being that when the woman has a baby it now actually takes you to the hospital and you can see the baby being born. Also there's new career options such as a scientist or a doctor and you can even go to work with them. I thought this was a regular Sims4 update as I never purchased a pack.
I log in today to go to my saved content and it warns me that if I don't purchase the pack that I could lose my save because it will become corrupt. So I felt forced into purchasing this pack which was 39.99 plus tax for The Sims 4 Get to Work.
For Sims 4 it shows that I have literally played for 1984 hours and 13 mins. I am not new to this game and had not accidentally accepted some trial. I always just go to my game and press play..
EA I thank you for fun game play all these years, but I was not appreciative in "tipping" or "buying" this game expansion pack today...
I'd love a refund and to keep my game, that ive been playing off of for so long, I didn't want to risk losing content, I definitely was forced into buying Get To Work.

This sounds like you had a previously active EA Play membership on your account that's now expired- Get to Work is included with an EA Play membership, and once that EA Play membership expires, you would have lost access to that pack. If you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and your Xbox gamertag is linked with your EA account, that's potentially where your EA Play membership has come from as EA Play is included with Game Pass Ultimate as well.
