Unable to disable in-game Overlay

I am using the EA Play Beta on PC. Although I have the in-game Overlay set to disabled on App properties, I still see it on while playing the game. I have noticed that there´s no "Properties" to manage game files and disable the overlay. How is this option accessed?

    • App version: 12.0.62-4872-66f418770

    Tested on Battlefield 5

    • getting Shift+F1 prompt on app start and overlay comes on pressing these keys even as Overlay is disabled on EA Desktop settings
